The PvP Battle Royale shooter PUBG which returned to India as BGMI after the game was banned last year in the country has undergone a massive resurgence among fans as the game has upto 16 million active players on a daily basis.

After launching in early July for Android users, Battlegrounds Mobile India is now all set to launch on the Apple iOS platform soon.

Wooyol Lim, Head of Battlegrounds Mobile Division at South Korean gaming company Krafton said that the developers are doing their best to bring BGMI to the iOS users as soon as possible. “We will soon make announcements on our social media handles to keep our fans updated,”

An Instagram post by the official page for Battlegrounds Mobile India teased their release date with a caption, “We thought you missed it earlier. So, just wanted to let you know “

According to speculators and information leaked through subtle hints by Krafton on their social media handles , the iOS version of BGMI is speculated to release on August 20th 2021.
