Regional Circuit Point Leaders in VCT
The third phase of the Valorant Champions Tour is nearing its end with regional playoffs being right around the corner for all regions where teams will compete for a place at Masters Berlin in September.
With the completion of 2 stages of VCT and 2 editions of Masters, teams have accumulated circuit points through these events to qualify for Valorant Champions in November, the biggest event of the year.
These are some of the teams who have been exceptional in their respective regions and currently have the most points, making them top contenders for Valorant Champions 2021:
1:North America: Sentinels:540 Points
Winning Masters 1, VCT Stage 2, and Masters Reykjavik is not enough for this star-studded lineup as Sentinels look to win everything in Berlin as well. The Champions of the first Valorant international LAN look seemingly unstoppable with a whopping 540 points, more than any team in the world. With the top seat in the VCT Stage 3 playoffs, the best team in the world is on their way to Berlin and are the favorites to win everything this year.
2:EMEA:Fnatic : 350 Points
Fnatic are the leaders of the points table in EMEA with 350 points only closely followed by Team Liquid with 280 points. Performing exceedingly well since VCT stage 2, Fantic has been one of the most exciting teams to watch, making it to the Grand Final of the First ever Valorant LAN in an epic game against Sentinels. The Masters Reyjkavik runners-up are unfortunately out of contention for Masters Berlin with their recent loss to Team Liquid in VCT Stage 3 Qualifiers EU but are still one of the favorite contenders for Valorant Champions 2021.
3:Brazil: Team Vikings: 340 points
Leading the points table in the region famous for CS: GO giants is Team Vikings with 340 points and a significant 130 point lead over Sharks Esports in second place. The Masters 1 BR winners are looking better than ever, ready for Masters Berlin.
4:Japan: Crazy Raccoon:290 points
The Masters 1 JP winners Crazy Raccoon top the points table in Japan with 290 points. Despite being from a region not originally famous for tactical FPS, Crazy Raccoon put on an insane performance in an epic game against Version 1 in Masters Reykjavik. With 3 roster changes at the end of June bringing Minty, Fisker, and ade into the team CR are looking to make a name for themselves in Masters Berlin with some amazing performances in recent VCT games.
5:Korea: Nuturn Gaming: 410 points
Masters 1 KR runners-up and 3rd place in Masters Reykjavik Nuturn Gaming are the undisputed leaders in Korea with 410 points and whopping 230 points lead over Vision Strikers in second place. The new roster change of bringing 10X into the team has bolstered the team in the playoffs and they are one of the top contenders for Masters Berlin.
6:SEA: X10 Esports: 275 points
X10 esports are the leaders in the SEA region by a huge margin of 195 points over second-place Full Sense. The team from Thailand represented the Southeast Asian region well, in Masters Reyjavik, competing against Team Vikings during their international tournament debut. X10 Esports then eliminated the Japanese region’s representatives Crazy Raccoon in a convincing 2-0 victory. Now X10 are back looking to make an impact in Masters Berlin just as they did in Reykjavik, being the current hope for the ever-growing SEA region, in the international Tactical FPS scene.
7:LATAM: KRU Esports: 255 points
The team created by Manchester City and Argentina’s legendary forward Sergio Aguero, are the leaders of the table in the LATAM region closely followed by Six Karma in second place. After their run-in Masters Reykjavik in which they were knocked out by EMEA giants Team Liquid, they are out for redemption in Berlin as their performances become exceedingly better..
