Krafton has officially launched Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS devices. The long awaited release of BGMI on Apple Devices is finally here as iOS users will now be able to download the game from the Apple App Store.

The release of BGMI on Android devices earlier last month was just a start , and it was only a matter of time before the game would be available on other platforms as well. Over the course of the past 2 weeks, many content creators were discussing the possibility of an iOS release for BGMI, and as of today , the South Korean company has officially released the game for the platform.

The release of the game on 18th August 2021 will be followed by a maintenance break announced by the devs , which is expected to be from 6:40 AM IST to 9:40 AM IST during which players who have linked their account to their Apple ID will not be able to login.

The collection of in-game rewards for the 50 million milestone which was achieved earlier this month will now be possible for iOS players as well.

BGMI iOS – requirements

Apart from this, Krafton has also announced that there will be a maintenance break for the authentication system for iOS. What this means is that players with their accounts linked to Apple ID will not be able to login to the game.
